The Concept and Background

Reduce the travel time between New Delhi to Agra
Plans to offer greater opportunities for Industrial & Urban Development of the region and provide the base for convergence to tourism and other allied industries.

YAMUNA EXPRESSWAY AUTHORITY – YEA

The Yamuna Expressway - YEA (erstwhile Taj Expressway) Project is conceived with the idea to not only reduce the travel time between New Delhi and Agra but also to open up avenue for Industrial and urban development of the region and provide the base for convergence to tourism and other allied industries. The expressway will be operational in the year 2011 making it the preferred route from Delhi / NCR to Agra. The present travel time between Delhi and Agra of 4 ½ hours will be reduced to less than 2 hours after the Expressway is operational.

YAMUNA EXPRESSWAY

A 165 kms of Expressway running from Noida to Agra promises to cut travel time between Noida and Agra by Half

The green fields now will soon be converted into the swankiest locations to live in, in the coming times. The Yamuna Expressway Project is not just another highway connecting Noida to Agra bringing the Taj closer but it will also be a path to prosperity for thousands as five new private townships will be created along the Yamuna Expressway with 2500 Acres of area each. A 6 Lane expressway and your travel time reduced by 2 hours is like any buyers dream come true, or so claim the developers Jaypee Infratech.

But will this project serve as your best investment option? We find out for you….

  • From Pari Chowk within Greater Noida connects you to Agra within a span of three hours so therefore if you purely look at it from accessibility and a commuting time perspective, yes this is one of the most revolutionary projects.
  • It promises smooth transport, a life of comfort and luxury and a quick drive to Taj Mahal. Here is how Jaypee plans to execute this project:
  • Jaypee has acquired this project as Public Private Parity in tandem with UP Government
  • Has been developed at as estimated cost of Rs 9900 cr of which the company has already spend Rs 5300 cr
  • But what do these figures mean for you as a Buyer?
To begin with these funds will also be used to develop five Townships around on Gautam Budh Nagar, Bulandshahar, Aligarh, Mahamaya Nagar, Mathura and Agra.
  • The expressway will be open to Traffic by March next year (2011)
  • The advantage as of now is that the land is cheap and the Real Estate cost is cheap. So more from the end users perspective , it makes a perfect sense if someone is looking for a home for living and if all the facilities and amenities be thrown in and even if we are talking about a little extra distance but yet if it has a good connectivity it makes perfect sense.
  • This futuristic expressway has the capability of creating its own demand. Not only would projects on the Expressway would attract buyers from Noida, Greater Noida and Delhi it will also generate a lot of interest from the Tier 2 cities.
  • If developers could come up with good products on this location this can become a perfect catchment area for Tier 2 towns. It’s because whilst we have population which sort of travels down to Delhi for work.
  • With new offices being setup across this stretch property analyst hope to see greater employment generation too. But all of that is only on paper. The Expressway is yet to be completed and the projects are yet to be launched
  • The initial market is more conducive for investors and NRIs. It will at least take 5 – 7 years before we can hope to see some end users interest in the properties
  • Lets walk 100 golden miles that’s what the construction giant Jaypee group is promising. 100 miles of residential townships, special economic zones, medical facilities & more opportunities all on the 165 km long expressway
  • There was much speculation on whether Jaypee would be able to deliver this ambitious project in time.
  • The first phase of the project is expected to be ready by 2010. While work on the toll plaza is expected to be completed by 2011. But for now the group is working hard to complete the six lanes Expressway. This stretch claims to connect 334 villages along the Yamuna

    FROM THE DESK OF DEVELOPER

The project was to be delivered in 2013 (The Scheduled Date) but it’s being ready to be open to traffic in 2011
